November Tarot of the Month - JUDGEMENT

Surrendering to a divine process is like allowing an ocean wave to hit you. You can brace yourself or you can get carried away- either way, you’ll get sand in your hair. The key to a fluid change is to treat the sand like buried treasure.    

Judgement is here! The 20th card of the Major Arcana and our Tarot theme for November. I would be very interested to hear about your initial reaction to this card. I think the Judgment card stirs up a variety of emotions upon looking at it. When faced with an angel bearing a large red cross, and a group of nude people standing in their graves, it’s hard not to become anxious. Fear not- The Judgment card is here to shed light on our current situation. This is the second to last card of the Major Arcana, meaning it’s the latter half of a significant journey we have endured. I think this is in great harmony to the month of November, being the second to last month in the year. Things are culminating, wrapping up, and showing true colors. The Judgement card can be a big help to us during these times. 

The angel we see represents Archangel Gabriel- a gentle guardian and devout messenger. He 

has come down to greet humankind with the sound of his trumpet, to which the people stand vulnerable, ready to accept their fate. Redemption, awakening, resurrection, metamorphosis- these are some intense words that will help you understand the energy of this card. A few things to note- the figures appear to be gray in color, signifying a rise from death, and the landscape is made up of a large mountainous range- representing life's obstacles thus far. 

You could be experiencing a crossroads this month and you may be counted on for decision making, by yourself or by others. This is a good time to reflect on your 2019, right before the end approaches. Ruminate on the lessons you have learned, as well as the ones that may have passed you by. What situations have presented themselves that were challenging, enlightening, or very testing? Are you still in the middle of any of these particular situations? What is hanging in the air without result? What personal changes have you gone through? Where they inspired by the desire to please others or yourself? These are great questions to ask yourself at the start of November. You may not know the answers right away, but a RENEWAL is approaching! This card also likes to rear its head if you have been stagnant, ignorant to your own intuition or riddled with self doubt. The astrological ruler of this card happens to be Pluto, an intense ally in transformation, death, and fundamental issues that emerge during life’s natural cycle. Judgement is a spiritual indicator that it’s time to look within, and develop a radar for callings and messages from the universe. If you feel a strong intuition to change direction, answer that call. Embrace change and be refreshed! Step into the new you- ever changing and guided by spirit.
